The Sam Marshall Trio is a progressive roots blues group with a sound planted in the blues with streams of jazz, funk, and hip-hop under the surface. SMT consist of Sam Marshall on guitar/vocals, Randy Rush on organ, and Collin Andresen on drums. The trio creates a groovy jazz backdrop that blends perfectly with Sam’s weathered voice and finger style/slide guitar playing. SMT is a great mix of old and new styles that results in some thoughtful groovy roots blues music.
