- About Me:
- I am a singer and performer who loves the blues, either rocked up, low down dirty, outlaw-ish, Mississippi stomp style, Chicago style? I love it all! I live in Detroit, Michigan and write all my own stuff with my co-writer and sweet adoring husband, Jeff Howard. Together, we won the 'best blues duo act in Detroit' in 2006. What an honor to be able to go and perform in Memphis with some of the best writers and musicians in the world. I've just finished and released my third cd, 'I Crossed the Tracks', October 12th, 08. All 13 songs are originals. I was fortunate enough to meet Chicago blues man Jim Kahr on the internet, played with John Lee Hooker, Bobby 'Blue' Bland, Jr. Wells, Jimmy Rogers, and many more. He took an interest in our music. Now living in Germany, he flew all the way to Detroit to play some tunes on this new release. I'm also blessed to have 'Billy Davis', (played with Hank Ballard and the midnighters and gave Jimmi Hendrix his first guitar), playing on some of my tunes as well.
