George "Papa" Lightfoot - Blues harp

Blues musician George "Papa" Lightfoot was honored Friday with a Mississippi Blues Trail marker at a Natchez, Mississippi park just steps away from where he was reared. Lightfoot's marker is the second in Natchez. Jesse Fortune, the "Fortune Tellin' Man" Chicago blues singer from Mississippi passed away

Jesse Fortune, the veteran Chicago blues singer who was most active in the 1950s and 60s, died Monday. He was 79.He collapsed on stage while performing at a West Side club and pronounced dead at Mt. Sinai Hospital, authorities said. The Cook County Medical Examiner's office said an autopsy showed Fortune died of coronary atherosclerosis.Fortune, better known as the "Fortune Tellin' Man," was born in Macon, Miss., and migrated to Chicago in 1952. Now I feel it is the right time to thank you for your friendship and support in 2009. Still busy in studio, still working hard to get something we can call our own stile.
The 30th of december last year it suddenly appear a lighting sceanery on heaven. Luckely I managed to grab a camera and save the image. It was almost like the creator came down in his greatness. With this photo I want to wish you and yours a merry christmas and a happy, new year full of posibilities and great moments.
