I play with various folks from Saint Augustine to Savannah. Blues, soul, gospel, and some bluegrass. I like anything with soul and feeling...
I'm currently playing music with several different groups. First, I play bass with a group out of Savannah called The Bluesonics. Lately, I've been sitting in on occasion with Karl W. Davis (vocals) and various other artists such as Jim McKaba (piano), Jim Barcaro (guitar), Jon Buck (drums), Brian Jenkins (drums), Josh Miller (guitar), and Tony-O (guitar) in whatever combination is available or needed at the time. Lately, I've been playing upright bass with a group out of Jacksonville called the Suwannee Bluegrass Mafia (along with Randy Judy on guitar, Alan Dalton on banjo, Steve Pruett on mandolin, Drew Dixon on mando and fiddle, and Brian Homan on dobro). I also play occasionally with a vocal trio called the Impediments. Once in a blue moon, I'll do a gig with my brother, Landon, who plays electric blues guitar and lives in Virginia. Lastly, I play acoustic guitar with Alan in several bluegrass ensembles (depending on the needs of the job) along with Steve P. Sometimes my son (Bryan Wayne) or Drew Dixon (from St Augustine) will play with us on mandolin, in which case I switch to bass and Steve plays acoustic guitar. I'm learning to play some electric guitar in the blues vein, and I'm getting near where I need to be to "play out" on that instrument, at least in a backup mode.
Instruments: Electric and upright bass, acoustic guitar, vocals.

Hi Bryan, If you not have had the possibility to visit my site I hereby give you a little tast of The Bluesmates. If you like it there is more to hear. If not, I am sorry to have taken your time.
Much respect. Grandpa_Erik
That was quite a few years back when I was playing with the Rocket on LI.
I live in New Jersey now which makes it much easier to get around the East Coast.
