About Me:

Honoring Past Present & Furture Blues Atrits.

The Blues Hall of Fame ® was founded in 1999 by Chairman, Dan Marolt. Since it's birth, it had grown organically and honoured Master Musicians from Robert Johnson to Eric Clapton. In addition Ambassadors Across the World have been Inducted in tribute to their life long commitment playing & promoting The Blues. And Extend From London to San Diego, Canada to Australia and continue to grows rapidly.

These Honours have also been extended to Broadcasters, Fans and & Journalists alike who devote their time to promoting and honouring The Blues.

The Chairman sort to strengthen the organisation and built a board of Directors around him to support, review and grow the ever expanding reach of The Hall Of Fame. Directors include, Mark Kerr, Mike Dollins, Jimmy Lloyed Rea, Terry Knott & Johnny Mannion.

The forthcoming "Clarksdale Venture" will underpin our Commitment to ensure The Blues Breaths, Lives & Grows.

Seems like what I am hearing is Funk , Rock , R and B , Soul , etc. I play at "Blues" Festivals , yet I hear very little Blues. I cut my Blues teeth with Howlin Wolf,Big Walter Horton,John Lee Hooker,Muddy Waters,Willie Dixon,Pete Karnes, Freddie and Albert King, etc and was very fortunate to be on the bandstand with them------------- yet I am being passed over for bands that sound like everything but real deal Blues. I am really starting to wonder if there is a place for Old Blues Dogs like me anymore. Ill tell you one thing, I will never stop playing the REAL DEAL !!!!!!!!!!! The Blues is the Blues . Nothing more and nothing less. It just has to get back to being Blues again.
