We had a really fine recording session about a month ago, and have been mixing down the tracks we captured -- props, kudos all hats off to our man on keys, and de'facto producer and engineer Billy (whoo-hoo) for living with headphones on during all his off hours and getting this done.And finally - have started getting some songs uploaded (whew).Added to our LBW page is "I Can't Stand To See Her Cry" a cover of a Son Seals tune, featuring Billy on vocals. Finally. Whew! Blue Route blues band is a dedicated all-blues band from Philly. We play house-rockin electric blues. Toe-tappin, hip-shakin, jump-jivin good time music. From Muddy Waters and B.B. King tunes, to Otis Rush and Son Seals...with a sprinkling of original material mixed in for fun.
We're rockin that house from Philly, to the DE and MD beaches, to the Jersey shore, north to Trenton, NJ, west to Lancaster PA and all points in between.

Things are happening

...no surprise, since a been a while since we got in here to update.

Vince - our "new"drummer (well, newer than us, he's been here for some time now) - has added lots ot the band. A great player and really nice guy. Who know Billy (keys) had friends like him?? ; )

Our song list is growing. Which is good since we've got a 5-set private party coming up Sept 6th.

Just added Five Long years, Somebody Loan Me A Dime, Juice-head Baby, How Long, Gotta Get It (a new original) and more.… Continue
