- Andre & The J-Tones is a 6 piece Rhythm & Blues, Funk, Rock and Soul band that performs your favourites from the 60's and 70's. They are energetic with a funky horn section and a singer with the raspy and gutsy power of Wilson Pickett and the gentle sound of Otis Redding and Sam Cooke. Playing the music of The Commitments, The Blues Brothers, Stevie Wonder, Joe Cocker, Sam & Dave, CCR, and The Beatles. This Hamilton, Ontario band has been together for approximately 6 years performing all over Ontario.
Andre recently released a CD that was Nominated for Blues Recording of the year for The Hamilton Music Awards, it was also Voted Best Rhythm & Blues Album of 2009 by the Blues Underground Network, and Voted Best CD of 2009 by The Hamilton Blues Lovers.
