Yeah it is a small world. I know Stoke on Trent (I always get lost there though LOL). Thanks for the comment on the videos but to be honest, they're not the best show case for the band. Would be great if you could catch us live…

- Loads of tips! Too many to mention here of course. First of course is to find a make of harp that you are comfortable with and learn that most harp players play in "2nd position" (I'm assuming you know that - I'll explain if you don't - let me know). I play mainly Suzuki Bluesmaster harps - I really like the feel of these harps. Initially the best tip I can give is to practice isolating each note - thereby only getting one sound from each hole, both blow and draw. It's really difficult when you first start as you tend to play 2 or 3 holes at the same time while you are training your "embrochure" - i.e. lip purse. Keep in touch - let me know how you are doing.
