The US Gig Finder Map is steady growing wings here. Culling venues from various Blues Society web sites recalling places from my well spent youth, running down leads from bands booked in various locations... we've passed the 200 venue mark.

Mostly the venues are in Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina at this point.

Already the map has lost a few points placed on it by finding out that these venues have closed. Consider this the Big List. If we find places have stopped having live music, they'll be removed. Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

As I learn to use this tool better, the depth of information should increase. If anyone is a google.maps wiz... suggestions are welcome.

Thanks for stopping by.

So I guess I have a thing for maps.

Here's a google map with the locations already mentioned in this discussion. Some venues have already changed or closed it seems. Some bars were not well enough described to be found easily. If you can find the place in google maps with your description, that'll be good enough for me to be able to post it on the map. Each place that has a picture seems to have comments as a venue. Read that stuff... Currently there is no booking info on this map, that might change. Let's see how much interest this map gets. I hope this helps... Comment and let me know.

In Fell's Point(Baltimore MD) - The Cat's Eye Pub is fabulous for blues. A full house every weekend and the fans are RABID for live music - you will get tips if you pass the tip jar and you'll sell merch there.
