hey johnny- i'm glad you're getting more widespread promotion & recognition these days although you've always been popular & had a tremendous fan base. you've done so much to promote the cause of blues music; it was primarily your influence more than any other musician that got me hooked on the blues as a teenager back in the 70's, & i've loved it ever since; thanx....

What I like very much about his gigs is the people you meet, all great fans from all parts of the country where he is playing and people what came to his gig from abroad, we talk about his music, his gigs where we went, it's like one great family, I really enjoy that, you really feel you got something in common with people you never met before but who came to see the man you admire so much.
