Well, as I told you, I'll be coming into your area to play the Arkansas B&H Fest in Helena on Friday, 10/8, we're working on a Nashville show for 10/9, then back to Memphis at Huey's on 10/10. Wednesday 10/13 we're in Oxford at the U. at noon, and at Madidi Bar in Clarksdale that evening. There are three other venues considering shows during that week, we're just waiting for decisions. We go to Aberdeen Friday for the Bukka White Festival (Bukka was an old friend and mentor) and do a guitar workshop and performance there on Saturday, 10/16. Fly back here on Sunday. Looking good for that tour. hoping to meet some of your "Bootie's Juke Joint" fans while we're there. Regards, Bernie

Bernie, I am so happy that you were able to line up some gigs and sorry that I wasnt more helpful!! One of the owners of Hueys lived accross the street from me up until afew months ago (the one that actually does the booking) but he never gave me the time of day no matter how hard I tried. Getting connected in this City is next to impossible. They are not very receptive to outsiders!!
You might want to contact Andy T. He and his wife Kathy have started a Blues Society in Nashville where they are living now. They have a jam on Sundays and are doing some other blues related things in the city.
Dang...you are jumping around from city to city...Im gonna have a hard time keepin up with you!! -
