The Blacktops need a permanent lineup.
I guess this is as good a place as any to find musos for our band. We need to take things up a notch and really need a more permanent lineup. Looking for a Bass player, maybe a keyboard and another lead/rhythm player. Would also be nice to find a harp player and even a pedal steel We aren't precious about who does what or arranging things down to the last note just want good musicians who love to play good loud Roadhouse Blues. I am primarily a rhythm guitarist who thinks he can play a bit of lead and enough slide to get me by. I also play Bass and sing and don't mind switching around during a gig.
It is really more about getting Harry working regularly. He is a particularly talented Blues drummer with a great future. He has been performing since he was 8 and playing drums with me for the last 3 years. He will be 14 in July. He really has a gift for playing right in the pocket. We have a good practice space in Sydney and very tolerant neighbours. Get in touch for a jam and see how it goes.
