I just had some one build an ipod into one of my guitars so now I can do a show with full backing tracks from a single instrument.

Sort of a millennium version of the old time one man blues bands.
Times are hard and gigs are slim, one has to be creative.

Well that's great!

however I'm embracing the future one man concept.

to each his own, my kit is in my ipod. There's room enough for all of us.

Damn straight! I'll be remembering that iPod guitar every time I drag my kick drum out of the back seat of my 2 door car. That's one creative way to keep a blues man working through hard times.
I love a man that can embrace the future while preserving the past.

Peace brotha,

Niki
LOL! sounds good, so where do you play?
Hi Rusty,

I play all over the world. Wherever there's a P.A.

I live in Amsterdam and right now I'm in New York where I just finished playing some gigs.

I'm headed down to key West where I'll be gigging and then March 25th I head back to Europe to prepare for the summer festivals.

If you've got gigs for me I'll be there.

Niki
I have played this way for 20 years and now make a living at it (started out with Multi Timbrel Piano).

It puts a ton of pressure on you friend - you gotta sing ALL the songs! But.. I play about 70 solos a night and Live Chops are different from practice chops - I find I have grown with this gig -

My advice - don't you dare forget about the band stuff! but... give it a go.
Thanks for the advice... but I've been doing this since 1987!!
THIS IS JUST THE LATEST METAMORPHISIS!
Thats about all I am called to do since the RECESSION,LOL
