It gets a lot of hot/cold reviews. I have also heard of complaints about the DAW they bundle with it. So.............. First thing I would do is download either Audacity or Reaper DAW. That will take care of any DAW problems.

Another issue is that it is a USB 1 not a USB 2 That can cause an issue occasionally.

But if you want to give live 6 a shot make sure you have all your drivers updated first. Make sure your using the ASIO settings. Make sure your USB port is the one selected (I have used multiple USB interfaces and forgot to switch them (I win dumass award after 2 hours of head scratching on that one))

That should at least get you started..... Let me know
Thanks' Sue, It's been a headache! I'm having trouble finding where to navigate after the page load's up on the computer screen, then finding where to click to start a new recording session. I will try to talk to tech. support today also. MHM
Hi,I'm going to try N-Track. Will see what happen's,Thanks'
N-Track is the DAW I use. I prefere it over protools, cubebase etc. If you have any questions about it let me know, since I have used it since version 1.1. I don't know all the answers but enough to solve most problems.
Hi Sue,No luck on any program. It won't work with the M-Audio box I have.So I think I will use the M-Audio for a close hand's on pre amp and then get a mixing console that has a built in CD disk record system. Thanks', MHM
Just a check before you jump off a tall building - lol

N-Track -- open it up and go to Settings along the top
open it and go to Preferences and click on 44,100 (easiest to work with at this point)(Click OK)
Go back to Settings and now go down to Audio Devices and look for your USB device and make sure both left and right boxes are the same (I have made the mistake of choosing different devices - oops moment)(Click OK)

Hope that might help get it working
I was just about to jump off! LOL!! I'll try it once more. Thanks' MHM
Hi Sue. The N-Track won't accept the M-Audio for some reason. It only record's from the comp. mic. and sound's bad.
I posted on the n-track forum to see if anyone there has a solution or had the same problem. Am I right to assume that it didn't show up as a option under audio devices?
That's right. It showed up once, but then it would not accept it. MHM
One more question.... have you gone to M-audio's site and updated your drivers? unfortunately you have to do that but nobody mentions that.
Yes they are all updated. I get no signal when using the M-Audio. I've tried all usb port's also. MHM
