LiveBluesWorld

It would be nice to have a database of blues radio shows here on LBW. Especially shows being broadcast online so we can all check 'em out and boost their traffic a little. There are tons of roots, acoustic, americana, folk, type shows but I'd like to get right down to the BLUES shows if we can. Do you know of a LOCAL Blues show? Post a link here.

Hey Chad. You really started something here !
We come up pretty short on Blues radio over here in the UK, but the good old BBC is still broadcasting The Paul Jones Rythm & Blues Show on a Monday night. I warn you, its VERY British in its style but Paul knows his stuff and we love it.

I would argue with previous posts that the UK DOES have some good blues coverage out there - it may be small but its perfectly formed:
www.bbc.co.uk/lancashire - follow the links to Nick Dow's Lancashire Bluesnotes, every Friday 9-10 GMT
www.phoenixfm.co.uk - follow the Sunday show to Blues in the Nite, every Sunday night 10-12 GMT

Nice one Ian. I'll be checking them out this weekend.
Come on guys, there's got to be some more Brit broadcasts that need flagging up.

Chris.
