It would be nice to have a database of blues radio shows here on LBW. Especially shows being broadcast online so we can all check 'em out and boost their traffic a little. There are tons of roots, acoustic, americana, folk, type shows but I'd like to get right down to the BLUES shows if we can. Do you know of a LOCAL Blues show? Post a link here.

I love Portland's own KMHD, they have several blues shows, including the Blues Palace with Tom Addis hosting from 10pm-2am on Fridays, a live show broadcast from a local restaurant Rivercity Juke Joint, and more
Good morning! This has to be the single largest compilation of Blues radio stations on the web. Why stop there? Although a start has been made listing podcasts, let's include these as well. And athough we now have a few international radio shows listed, let's expand the boundaries of this list and include both international radio shows and podcasts.
Now what we have to work on is keeping this listing clean, keeping it updated and making certain all links are correct. There is nothing sadder than a data base of this size that dies from a lack of interest with links that no longer work.
Also, we can note the email addresses of all broadcasters, subscribing to their newsletters (if available), staying up on the shifting broadcast picture. Then list how the broadcaster prefers to receive music, ie, as a complete CD, or a MP3 link.
It need never be said again that you cannot get airplay for your Blues music. What you have to do now is direct people to where to find it.
Who would be interested in receiving updates on this matter as a regularly updated, subscription newsletter?
We can work to get your news on these radio shows.
Is there anyone here who's able to put this info into a searchable format? Maybe like email it could be organized by day, time, town, radio or internet broadcast... I'd do it but it's beyond my Microsoft Office 2003 capabilities. Plus I'm not smart enough by any means.
