Blues Music in Cuba

Hot on the heels of yesterday's announcement of a radio station elsewhere looking for Blues music, I have received this email from Michele Seidman. Although addressed to members of the group National Women in Blues on Facebook, this looks like a good lead for any one wishing to extend their radio airplay and sphere of influence.

Seems Cuba love the blues too and I recently linked up with a DJ from down that way who is interested in getting more blues to spin. All the details are below my signature line.

I had a few questions regarding the benefit in Nashville. The show was a hit but the sales were not what they had hoped due to heat and a major pile up on the highway to the event. Sadly, it did not break even but I admire them for trying to help! And the shows themselves...flawless! BB Queen, Debbie Ritter, Miss Taylor P Collins and Teressa 'Blues Babe' Brewer were among the women on stage (my buddy Ken Tucker joined them at the All Star Jam).

OK, enough of that..on to radio leads...check this one out below and if you are new to the WiB group...check the officers list and find those with 'Radio' next to their name...those are some of the DJ's already spinning blues (see the boards here for more Radio Leads too).
