As I am receiving music... one thing comes to mind META TAGS !!
The one thing that stands out is I am receiving a lot of music from all over, my biggest concern is no META TAGS. If you are going to Pimp your songs this is very important to protect your music. On live 365 all music played must have the Meta Tag info. This is easy to do from most any player, I do mine from Sam broadcaster as it allows me to enter a web address as well and if I get lucky sometimes they even show in the playlist for an Indie artist.
Since Sam isn't a free program you can use Windows Media or Winamp to do this as well in Winamp just load it in the player and right click on the music file go to "View File Info.." Then simply filL in all the information and save. The comments area is a great place to add a little bio about your band and put your web URL.
YES I have added them to all the Music I have received before you guys start asking lol.
Same goes for the songs you put in your players on your pages and set for free download META TAG your work.
If you are submitting music to a Live 365 station they should be in mp3 format and ripped @160 br or lower, yes I know we all like 320 better but the higher bit rate bogs the system and puts a stress on the bandwidth and limits the amount of listeners that can tune in.
There are litterly thousands of Blues stations on Live 365, it is a free site for listeners although you can upgrade to s VIP acct. so if you haven't already go check out the site.. while your there check out my blues shows on Radio Scooter Intl.. yes this is a shameless self-promotion of my radio show now lol

just load the url in your browser and hit the big yellow play button when the page loads tunes will pop up on a player and auto start after a commerical. Check my profile for days & times of my shows. Indie Spotlight starts tomorrow please tune in and support all the Indie artist the more listeners the higher my rating and I move to the top of the search list. Then more listeners tune in haha it is a wonderful circle lol
