We're sad to say that the 2010 January film & music fest was the final event for the Deep Blues Festival. We just haven't been able to draw enough fans to support what we'd set out to accomplish. My dream was to see these bands in front of 1,000 or more. For four years we did what we could.

That's sad. Although it's clear that you posted your news on the right websites, did you hire the talents of a competent PR firm? It may be too late as you have apparently made your decision. But,...
May we have permission to re-post your news on our blogs? The news you are posting on LBW we believe would be of interest to our growing readership on our blogs.
Although we are only receiving several hundred hits on our blog on a daily basis, our numbers are growing. Chris, so sorry to hear that man. Wish I could have hit one of the music festivals. I tried that first year, but my flight was cancelled!!!! Act of god! Or air traffic controller anyway.
Love what you did for the scene...it's just so hard to break through the noise these days and spread the word to a large enough audience to make it work.

Hey guys.....check us out and consider us for next years Festival,if you decide to go ahead.It would be a great shame if you didn't!
We intend to be touring extensively throughout and would love you to regard us as a potential band. In terms of our "Artistic" element, we put on quite a show as you can see from our videos posted. These form a large part of our on stage light show reminiscent of those late 60's, early 70's psychedelic Blues rock shows.
I hope you enjoy your visit to our page and if you get the time...get in touch....even if the festival doesn't take place it would be good to hear your thoughts on our brand of blues/rock.
