Bluesfest, Norwich, NY Late Aug. 08
This is a nice show. Been going three years. Small to medium crowd, very friendly and family.
REALLY good blues acts. Everyone welcome at the fairgrounds in Norwich, NY, in the middle of nowhere.
It's a two day affair, camping and vendors, but not so large and glitzy. I've met any number of blues musicians. Roy Rogers and I traded jokes on the same theme.
One thing to note... hotel rooms are bloody well impossible. Binghamton NY is also tough.

here's an update... The show begins August 15th.. this friday evening... at the Cenango Fairgrounds, Norwich, NY
(About 20 minutes north of Binghamton)
Anyone in western, central or southern NY state, and all the way to Albany, anyone in Pa.,
this is a fine show!

great place, smallish crowd of real blues folk, and...
