The Lead Belly Blues & Folk Festival will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at the Festival Plaza in Shreveport, Louisiana. The festival which is complete with music, a Lead Belly exhibit, merchants, food and the Huddie "Lead Belly" Ledbetter landmark and trail tour, will be great entertainment for the whole family, and will no doubt bring thousands of Lead Belly fans from across the country. Fans will be entertained by award winning, Blues greats Kenny Neal Family Reunion, Bobby Rush, Johnny and Destini Rawls, Eddie Shaw and the Wolfgang, Ruthie Foster, James Robinson, The Blue Birds and more! Sorry I cant go im already made plans to go to Clarksdale, Ms for the Caravan Music Festival but will definately try to make down there to see your festival next year.
